The Vacancies relating to SDE (Electrical) competitive examination has
been enhanced after consideration of the resultant vacancies arising out
of EE (Electrical) promotion, and now as per the information from the
electrical cell the resultant vacancies for competitive quota are
approximately 46 in number. The pending
syllabus and scheme for competitive examination from Electrical Cell
is sent to DE cell on 26.10.2007.
The DPC from JTO(E) to SDE(E) for 35
no. of posts is over and the postings will be issued very shortly. DPC for
the approx. 58 nos. of SDE(E) vacancies will start as soon as the present
promotions are issued.
The file relating to accounts
examination is still lying with CA cell. We are pursuing the matter.
The CRs for regularization of adhoc
SDE(Civil) is still awaited from most of the Circles. (Refer to
letter issued from BW cell n 19.10.07). Circle
Secretaries kindly pursue the matter.
The
DPC from JAO/AAO to AO has been notified.Our GS has already written to BSNL

Meeting of the
representatives of the United forum with Director(HRD) and other concerned
officers:Director(HRD)/BSNL called the representatives of the United forum
for a meeting to discuss Gr A RRs. At the very outset of the meeting,
Director(HRD) was unequivocally and unambiguously informed that United forum
is not prepared to have any discussion on any issue unless the instructions
issued on recruitment of MTs on 13th Sept.,07 are unconditionally and
forthwith withdrawn. Despite persistent efforts of the BSNL management to
engage the representatives of United forum into a discussion on one issue or
the other, united forum representatives maintained their stand and did not
budge from it.

& result oriented effort of CGM/Gujarat Circle -remarkable growth of
nearly 90%, during the last one year, in mobile services, having registered

management should counsel the disgruntled group of officers of Gujarat
